Jack and Elizaveta talked about Mattel's 79 years of cultural relevance and we could not agree more. When you look at the history of Mattel and the iconic brands such as Barbie and Thomas the Tank Engine you can see why their L&M portfolio is extensive.
Their focus on this years winter conference was 'Hot Wheels' and the launch on Netflix in 2024. The audience got to see some of the new material for the show and we can't wait for Mattel to come back and tell us their updates later on in the year.

3:45pm - 4pm - RETAIL MONSTER - CRAYOLA - PvsZ - PUDGY PENGUINS
7th Feb
Retail Monster showed us Pudgy Penguins last year and it was great to now see an animation sizzle. It looks great, highly emotive characters and non-verbal as well which will translate around the world. They look like they are really focusing on the digital play side of the IP as it came from NFT's.
Crayola are now a Studio and that is great for the global animation industry. Crayola really is a benchmark licensee product - every brand wants a Crayola license.
PvsZ is a great game, the numbers are huge and the plans for the launch look great, we can't tell you more though sadly...
Thanks to Liesa as always!
